  Friendly staff, huge amount of stock and heard the owners are quite nice and friendly, yet to meet with them.

  Virtually everything you need for your dog, cat, rabbit or reptile. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great range of products and I enjoy just being able to walk around the store at my leisure. Prices can be a little expensive, but the food and their wide range of products available are very good and I prefer to pay a bit more for good quality products. I was in there yesterday just to look around, but as usual I didn't leave empty handed, I never do.The only downside for me is the parking. Grooming is avaible for dogs. If they don't have it the staff will order it or tell you where you can buy what you are after. An all round enjoyable experience for me.

  I have been purchasing items from this store for a very long time, since they were at their old Prospect location years back. Staff are always extremely friendly and remember their regulars, if only the same could be said about the stores owners.. Owners are extremely arrogant and rude, the man wont acknowledge customers upon entering the store whilst the wife's number one priority is raking in profit. I have been going to this store purchasing bulk amounts of bird cages for a very long time, theres no doubt I have spent close to $1,000 if not more in this store and owners are unwilling to offer any sort of discount whatsoever, even though I would have continued business with this store. Additionally, I once bought a breeding pair of Club Rung Budgies from this store which I was wrongly charged $60 for when they were only supposed to be $25 each due to a special, which staff did not know how to put through the register.. I got home to discover both birds were clearly suffering a calcium deficiency or something of the sort and neither could fly up from the ground. Sometimes this is an issue with club Budgies due to their size or weight but it was not the case with these two birds, they were obviously suffering some type of malnourishment. Upon returning these two birds and requesting my money back, one owner complied and provided me with a refund and he then took the birds out the back where he said they would watch them for a while to see if they come good. A few days later I was passing the store and popped in just to see if they had any nice Budgies available, to my shock, both birds had been placed back in the cage with other Budgies for sale!! I asked a staff member to check for me to see if they really had come good or not and still, neither of the birds was able to fly or get up off the bottom of the cage. This is a disgusting practice, selling birds which they know are not 100% healthy. It is likely a customer unfamiliar with birds would have purchased these later on and been stuck with the problem due to having not much knowledge.. I feel sorry for whoever purchased this pair of birds. After my unfortunate experiences with the business I will never ever return. The owners definitely made a bad business decision by deciding to raise price on the cages and then refuse me a bulk lot of them for the normal price. I will never return!!!! Disgusting.

  The owner there is very knowledgeable on turtles and doesn't give misleading information or bad diet recommendations. Not all staff are as savvy but he's great to deal with as a turtle owner.

  P.S. I should mention I boarded my turtles there while I was on holiday and they were excellent.
